The company was incorporated in the year 1998 and today it has refining capacity of 100 t.p.d. The company has set up refining plant using the patented technology of physical refining to meet the requirements of refined rice bran oil for consumer packs and exports. The company is selling its product under the brand name, "Ricela", which has bagged best brand award from Globoil India.
The company has been bagging the Third Award for being the highest producer of refined Rice Bran Oil in the country continuously for the past 16 years. Very recently, the company has also bagged the First Award for being the highest exporter of refined rice bran oil in the country and it is pertinent to mention here that no other company had even qualified the basic eligibility criteria for the Second Award.
Today A P Organics Limited Is exporting to more than 25 countries, including the United States of America, Australia, Newzealand, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Poland, Holland, Dubai, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Israel, Thailand, Srilanka, Pakistan etc.
The turnover of the company has shot to Rs. 277 crores in the year 2015-16 from Rs. 3.45 crores in 1999-2000.
A.P. Organics Limited has also developed a new technology for production of oryzanol concentrate from rice bran oil, which is known for a number of reported health benefits. The department of biotechnology, Government of India has sanctioned a grant of Rs. 3.43 crores for setting up this pilot project for the production of oryzanol concentrate.
